Investigators from the Michigan State Police have made a tragic discovery at the scene of a structure fire in Laird Township. In addition to the one person confirmed as dead already, another body has been uncovered. A positive identification has yet to be made for either of the deceased, but MSP believes the two are 37-year-old Christopher Fogg and his five-year-old son Leonidas.

The blaze occurred on Tuesday around 11:30 AM. Personnel from the Calumet Post were first to respond. The fire remains under investigation and no cause has been revealed at this time.
