The last official day of summer comes on Saturday, and not too far behind leaves will begin to change colors. The Keweenaw Peninsula has long been a tourist destination for the annual fall foliage color change. But for those living in the region, residents can enjoy the fall colors any day of the season. As the fall colors begin to peak, MI-TRALE hopes to host the group’s annual senior fall color tour. The off road event gets seniors in the copper country out on the back trails to take in a fun filled day of getting on the four wheeler, good company, and beautiful sites. The MI-TRALE fall color tour will take place on September 28th. Those hoping to join the fun fall day will need to contact the group’s treasurer Dave Bishop to register for the fall color tour.
