Public Safety Day returning to Mohawk

The Keweenaw County Sheriff’s Department is hosting its fourth annual Public Safety Day this Saturday afternoon in Mohawk. Other agencies will be involved, including fire departments and ambulance crews. Sheriff Curt Pennala says there will be plenty of activities for the kids, important in uniting a community and those who help protect it.
