The Portage Health Auxiliary announces its fall grant application program. The group will consider proposals from non-profit organizations in Houghton, Baraga, Ontonagon, and Keweenaw counties.
Applicants must show how their projects benefit youth or the elderly in particular, as that is a required tenet of the auxiliary’s mission statement. Forms are available at the gift shop at UPHS-Portage in Hancock or by calling Barb Worrall, 523-4445, or emailing her at gbworrall@live.com. The deadline is Saturday, October 30. Awards will be announced the following month.
