Parade of Nations Calls on Businesses and Organization Participation in the 2024 Festivities

It takes some time to organize the Parade of Nations. Parade of Nations organizers look forward to another year of the international cultural festival in 2024 that brings the campus to Houghton and Hancock. This year organizers call on local businesses and community organizations to join the college’s students. There are two main ways for the Copper Country community to get involved in the Parade of Nations; as a vendor or in the parade.

Setting up as a vendor for the Parade of Nations offers a chance to showcase products and services while at the event’s Multicultural Food Fest. Organizers say that this has become a great way to connect with the students, helps to increase visibility, and become a beloved tradition.

Joining the parade’s main event that travels through each town will certainly have some festive creativity. This year’s parade theme explores holidays around the World. Parade floats can help share the community’s heritage with color, and grand displays.

Those interested in learning more about becoming a Parade of nations vendor or want to join the parade can find more details below.

Vendors should contact Katie Draves to apply: kadraves@mtu.edu for more information.
