Ottawa National Forest Visitor Center Closed Until Further Notice

The Ottawa National Forest Visitor Center in Watersmeet will remain closed until further notice.

The Ottawa National Forest is working to rebuild staffing levels post-pandemic and currently doesn’t have the staffing levels to open the Center.

Once the Visitor Center is staffed and ready to open, the park will notify the public.

Passes and permits can be purchased at the Bessemer, Watersmeet, Ontonagon, and Kenton Ranger District Offices, and other retailers.
