Osceola Township is Working on a New Recreation Plan

Osceola Township will update their 5 year recreation plan. The township is working with the Western Upper Peninsula Planning and Development Region to update the recreation plan. WUPPDR will help guide the township through preparing for a new recreation plan, which will help the township take advantage of specific grants with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. During this process Osceola Township will need public input. A survey has been made available online for residents to respond to. Paper copies can be requested, at the Osceola Township office, WUPPDR’s Hancock office, the Dollar Bay Post Office, the Hubbell Post Office, Richies Market in Dollar Bay, Campioni True Value in Calumet, Holiday Gas in Calumet, and the Copper Mine in Tamarack City. Responses to the survey should be submitted by October 6th.
