One Man is Dead After a Single Vehicle Crashes in Greenland Township this Morning

A single vehicle crash, leads to one fatality in Greenland township. This morning at round 3:45 am MSP-Calumet troopers were dispatched to a single motor vehicle accident on M-38 near FF1980 in Ontonagon County. Once troopers arrived on scene, they located the vehicle and deceased male driver. An investigation is ongoing, and factors leading to the crash are unknown. The name of the deceased driver has not been released, until police can notify immediate family. Calumet Post troopers were assisted by MSP Wakefield, Sonco Ambulance, Ontonagon County Sheriff, and the Greenland and Ontonagon Village fire departments.
