One Individual Released from Hospital, Second Individual Transported to Second Hospital and Pending Warrant

One person involved in the Hancock domestic assault incident has been released from the hospital.

Hancock police announced yesterday, that the victim involved in Saturday’s domestic assault on the 300 block of Hancock Street was released from the UPHS – Portage following treatment.

A second individual involved in the domestic assault was transported to a second hospital for further treatment. The department has said the individual still receiving treatment has a pending felony warrant for their arrest.

Hancock Police Chief Tami Sleeman says that the investigation continues to develop. No other information will be released at this time. We hope to bring you more information when more details become available.
