No one was injured in a semi truck roll over on Lake Annie Road yesterday in Franklin Township. Michigan state police troopers reported to a call for a rolled over gravel truck near US -41 at around 10:50 am. It was determined that a semi truck loaded with gravel was attempting a left hand turn on Lake Annie Road off of the highway, when the driver lost control of the vehicle, and flipped over to its passenger side. The driver was not injured in the crash. Lake Annie Road was shut down for a short time, and traffic slowed on US-41 while crews cleaned up the scene. The crash remains under investigation with the Michigan state police. MSP troopers were assisted by Hancock Police, Quincy-Franklin Twp Fire Department, Superior Service Towing, Wuebben Sand and Gravel, Payne and Dolan, and Great Lakes Mineral Works.
