MTU’s H-STEM Complex Construction Continues to Move Along on Schedule

Since the summer the bones and structure of MTU’s new H-STEM Complex have been taking shape. Crews have worked hard to remain on schedule, as the university hopes to open the new research facility in early 2024. The building will house Michigan Tech’s Health Research Institute, and encourage collaboration with the engineering students and faculty in the adjacent Chemical Sciences and Engineering Building. Michigan Tech’s H-STEM Complex construction is moving along on schedule. The university plans to check off a few more boxes on the construction over the next month including installation of a temporary roof, pouring concrete floor decks, and some electrical work will begin. In the complex’s renovation area, will continue framing a new wall.
