MTU Students Donate Haunted House Proceeds To Pigs N’ Heat & Dial Help

Money raised by Michigan Tech students during their annual haunted house is going to support two local organizations.

Students from Theta Chi Epsilon sorority and Sigma Pi fraternity presented a total of $2,500 to the Pigs N Heat charity hockey game and Dial Help at Wednesday’s meeting of the Houghton City Council.

Pigs N Heat helps families who have been victims of crime or fire. Dial Help offers crisis intervention and support services.

This was the 32nd year that the students have put on the haunted house for charity.
