Students from Michigan Tech are mourning the loss of fellow husky Kenneth Bragg, and his family who died December 30th in an explosion downstate. Now that students have returned to campus, the Michigan Tech pep band has planned a candlelight vigil for Kenneth Bragg. Bragg was a valued member of the pep band bringing joy and acting as a friend to those who interacted with him on campus. The candlelight vigil to honor Kenneth Bragg will be held at the Husky statue tomorrow, starting at 7 pm.
The pep band encourages the Michigan Tech community to support students through this time and check in with loved ones as people grieve. Counseling resources are available on campus and can be contacted online. The pep band also asks the community to consider supporting Kenny’s brother Stephen Bragg, and grandfather Richard Pruden as they recover in the hospital.
