MTU Mourns Death of Darwin Moon

Michigan Tech morns the loss of Darwin Moon today. Moon graduated from Michigan Tech in 1979 and began serving his Alma Mater on the Alumni Board of Directors in 2020. He was born in Ann Arbor, in 1957. He earned his bachelor’s at MTU, going on to earn two master’s degrees, from the University of Michigan and Cal State – Northridge. Eventually earning a doctorate from Clemson University. Moon worked in the Air Force Rocket Propulsion Laboratory starting in 1980. He lost a brief fight to pancreatic cancer on March 16^th, he was 65 years old.
