Lansing Climate Reality chapter and Line 5 activists will join MTU alumni, Gary Street tomorrow to talk the Enbridge pipeline, and its impacts on life in Michigan. The forum will start at 6 pm, and is scheduled for about an hour. The group will also discuss line 5’s history, and its current status in the great lakes. Enbridge’s line five provides propane to 12,000 upper peninsula residents. The line’s tunnel project fate is now in the hands of Michigan’s Public Service commission, which could make their decision on the project by this summer. Tomorrow’s talk is available virtually, but attendees can view the forum from Fisher Hall room 138, start at 6 pm.
