Michigan Tech University’s Health Research Institute is planning a special conference for the Upper Peninsula. During the final weekend in august, The school is hold the first Upper Peninsula Medical Conference. Practitioners, researchers, and students will about health related issues, and their affects on rural communities. Throughout the weekend, attendees will hear about seminar topics such as, digital medical strategy, lifestyle and wellness integration, obesity, aging, and vaccine efficacy and hesitation. The conference will hear from twelve speakers, each with their own experience and knowledge from working in healthcare’s many fields of specialty. The first Upper Peninsula Medical Conference is hosted by Michigan Tech August 26th through the 28th.
