MTEC SmartZone adds Mary Kate Ahles to its team as a Marketing Manager

The MTEC SmartZone announces a new addition to the business incubator’s team. Earlier this week MTEC SmartZone announced it has hired Mary Kate Ahles as a Marketing Manager.

Ahles graduated from the University of Wisconsin Extended Campus with a Bachelor of Science in Sustainability management, with minors in environmental sustainability and sustainable enterprise. With her, Ahles brings experience in sustainability, marketing, and creative content development from work with Surfrider Northern Michigan, Trout Unlimited Great Lakes, and Red Bull. She too is a business owner and has operated a media production company, M/K Studios LLC.

In her role as the marketing manager for the MTEC SmartZone Ahles will leverage her skills to advance the incubator’s initiatives in the Keweenaw Peninsula and beyond.
