Michigan State Police – Calumet Post personnel served an arrest warrant in the City of Houghton Tuesday afternoon. An apprehension was made and the individual was taken to Houghton County Jail where he faces at least one charge of Possession of Methamphetamine.
Members of the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team were on site as well. They discovered several devices used in the manufacture of meth. They believe the home was being used as a laboratory. Also assisting were city police and the fire department.
Charges are being sought through the Houghton County Prosecutor’s Office.
