MSP Encourages Fifth Graders to Participate in the 2023 National Missing Children’s Day Poster Contest

Michigan State Police Missing Children’s Clearinghouse encourages kids to get creative with a national poster contest, focusing on awareness for missing children’s cases. The 2023 National Missing Children’s Day Poster Contest promotes child safety, annually, by offering an opportunity to create a poster centered around the topic. The contest encourages parents and kids to learn about ways to stay safe, and what to do in an emergency, as well as have difficult conversations. This year’s winning artist from Michigan will earn a free trip to Washington D.C. and could have their artwork featured for this year National Missing Children’s Day poster. Michigan’s most recent national winner came in 2018, and was from Clinton Township, in the lower peninsula. Find out more information about this year’s contest with the link below.
