Mohawk Secretary of State Begins Winter Hours

The Secretary of State Office in Mohawk is back to its winter hours.

The office has returned to one-day-a-week service instead of two as it adjusts to seasonal business volume.

Now open on Thursdays only, the hours at the office on U.S. 41 remain 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a lunch closure from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The office will be open on Wednesday, Nov. 22 due to the Thanksgiving closure the next day.

The Mohawk office opened in January 1999 and is the first full-service Secretary of State office in Keweenaw County.
