Mohawk’s Scott Pacetti was arrested Thursday after a year-long investigation into his drug dealing. He has been charged with 14 counts related to possessing or distributing a rash of narcotics, including heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, morphine, and MDMA (ecstasy).
Detectives with the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team have conducted undercover drug transactions with Pacetti numerous times over the past year. They also executed a search warrant on January 24th at his No. 5 Rd residence where they found a pistol, scales, narcotics, and other paraphernalia. The charges are felonies and can result in a prison sentence of up to 20 years.
48-year-old Pacetti has been arraigned in 97th District Court, with bond set at $5,000. Assisting UPSET was Keweenaw County Sheriff, Houghton County Sheriff, Michigan State Police – Calumet post, and MSP’s Hometown Security Team.
