Michigan Tech has announced the appointment of Chief Financial officer and Senior Vice President for Administration.
After a thorough nation-wide search, Nick Stevens has been chosen to fill the position. He will now oversee the finance, administration, technology, institutional research, facilities and financial functions of the Michigan Tech.
President Koubek thanked the interim CFO, Vice President for Research Dave Reed for his work.
Stevens was previously the Executive Vice President for Business and Finance at Finlandia University, where he had administrative oversight of all business and controller activities.
He joined Michigan Tech in 2015, where he is currently the director for budget and planning at Michigan Tech.
His duties as CFO and Senior VP for Administration will begin next Monday.
