Michigan Tech University has partnered with Nexteer Automotive on an Education Partnership Agreement. The relationship between the two groups will help Nexteer employees earn graduate certificates or a master’s degree from Michigan tech global online campus. The certificates available to Nexteer’s employees include mastering skills and meet the demands of high growth areas within the automotive industry. Nexteer automotive is a global automotive motion control technology manufacturer, with more than twenty manufacturing plants throughout the world. Michigan Tech’s history with private industry partnerships is fairly unique within the state. As the school founding legislation calls upon itself to advance Michigan’s economy through workforce development. And historically the university has not been shy to work with the automotive industry.
