Michigan Tech names Bo Chen and Niusen Chen the 2024 Bhakta Rath Award Winners. Researcher Bo Chen and his former student Niusen Chen have worked together for six years on breakthrough design security capabilities for mobile devices. Bo Chen says that since earning his doctoral degree he’s worked on security research, and began exploring the unique technical challenges of data security with mobile devices after coming to Michigan Tech. The research he and former student Niusen Chen have conducted over the years has become more critical as computing devices become more personalized in data processing.
