Michigan State Police UPSET arrest one person in connection to a months-long drug trafficking investigation during a traffic stop in Delta County.
Yesterday the Michigan State Police Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team announced it arrested one person during a traffic stop on Saturday. On December 28thUPSET detectives and MSP Troopers with assistance from the Delta County sheriff’s office K-9 unit conducted a traffic stop in Delta County on a vehicle driven by the suspect. The K-9 unit alerted officers that drugs could be found in the vehicle. A search seized approximately one pound of crystal methamphetamine and one ounce of cocaine.
The driver of the vehicle has been lodged in the Delta County jail. No names have been released at this time pending further investigation by UPSET.
