Michigan State Police Respond to Three Car Crash

Injuries have been reported in a three car crash on US-41 in Portage Township last Friday. At approximately 3 pm Michigan State Police responded to a three car collision on US-41 about a quarter mile north of Britz Road. Traffic was blocked for about an hour while cleanup crews cleared the road.

Michigan State Police are investigating the cause of the accident. No further information has been released at this time. We hope to update this story as it develops.

MSP troopers were assisted by the Houghton County Sheriff, Houghton City Police, MTU Public Safety, Hurontown Fire and Rescue, Dave’s Towing and Superior Service Towing.
