MI TRALE Scholarships Support Four Ontonagon County Students

MI TRALE supports Ontonagon County students with scholarships for education. Last Tuesday MITRALE leadership presented two 250-dollar scholarships to Ontonagon Area Schools students Naomie Braget and Gracie Pluthcak at the district’s Junior and Senior High School Awards program. The scholarships are a part of the Trails Club’s Marvin Westendhal Memorial Scholarship fund awarding support to students who show academic excellence and passion for special community volunteering. Then on Thursday last week, MI TRALE awarded another two scholarships to two students from Ewen Trout Creek Schools during the district’s annual awards program. The two 250-dollar MI TRALE scholarships were awarded to Christian Besonen and Joseph Trotochaud. Each student demonstrated a drive to achieve the highest academic standards while attending respective schools while also taking time to volunteer in their communities.
