Fall Colors will begin to pop and dot the beautiful scenery in the Keweenaw peninsula. Each fall several recreation groups organize fall color tours for the community to get outdoors. Next week MI TRALE hosts its annual side-by-side orv Fall Color Tour. This year the group has two tour options for attendees to choose between. The first tour leaves from Cane Court in Onotnoagon on a bus and travels to the fairgrounds. From there the group will take off down the trail toward Twin Lakes State Park for lunch. The second tour meets at the Ontonagon Fairgrounds and will take a bus to Twin Lakes State Park for lunch. After lunch, the side-by-side tour will start with travel to the Fairgrounds in Greenland. MI TRALE organizers suggest wearing appropriate clothing for the weather and recommend gloves and a hat. The group does have a limited amount of side-by-side vehicles available for use during the event. Those with their equipment are encouraged to join the trail color tour. Those interested in registering for the MI TALE fall color tour will need to contact Dave by the 23rd on Monday. Contact Dave by phone at 906 884 6617.
