Houghton County businesses in need of assistance due to the impact of the winter’s mild weather can learn more about the SBA loan program soon. This Friday the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and the Michigan Small Business Development Center will host a community briefing on Houghton.
During the presentation business owners affected by the lack of snowfall will learn about resources, the Upper Peninsula SBDC, UP Michigan Works talent solutions, and the US Small Business Administration’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan program.
The presentation does not require a reservation to attend. The meeting will begin at 11:30 am in the community room of the Lakeshore Center.
