MDOT will begin a 2.2 million dollar project to rebuild a section of M-95 from Hamilton Avenue and Woodward Avenue in Kingsford and Iron Mountain. The project will complete work over a 0.2-mile stretch for asphalt rebuilding, water main, storm and sanitary sewer work, and construction of sidewalk and concrete curbs. The project will start today and will finish sometime in August. Traffic traveling north will use lane shifts throughout the project, while a detour will be set up for southbound vehicles.
