Margaret Kempainen’s Review Hearing Moved to Monday

A court hearing scheduled in 97 District Court for Margret Kempainen has been rescheduled. Originally set for a review hearing tomorrow, Kempainen’s time in court was moved to next Monday. The hearing will start and 9 am with Judge Nicholas Daavettila presiding.

Kempainen was arrested in late 2023, with her son Jacob. She has been charged with Open Murder and conspiracy to commit murder in the death of Alvin Kempainen. Jacob has also been charged with open murder and conspiracy to commit murder. During the police investigation, Margaret identified Jacob as the shooter.
