Manistique Area Schools invites parents to learn about online and internet safety

By My UP News Digital Reporter Schyler Perkins

Administrators with Manistique Area Schools have partnered with the iGuardian project to talk to the community about social media issues impacting school kids like cyberbullying, online predators, and sextortion.

The community presentation is set for Wednesday, September 25 in the Manistique middle and high school auditorium.

The school district said it is a free presentation that will help people know more about the dangers online as well as ways to increase cyber safety and reduce risk for children and teens.
