Little Gem Community Center hosts a fungi workshop in November

Little Gem Community Center invites the community to learn about fungi with a fun guy. Next month The Little Gen Community Center in Lake Linden will host a mushroom-growing workshop with Keweenaw Mushroom owner Zack Osborn. Mushrooms offer the body macronutrients that support a healthy immune system, as well as antioxidant enzymes that prevent cell damage. The Shiba Café has sponsored the event and has helped provide a free oyster mushroom growing kit for kids. The Mushroom growing workshop will take place at the Little Gem Community Theater in Lake Linden on November 9th starting at 11 am.
