Get the lumberjack flannel ready for a night to support one of Little Brother’s largest programs during one of the organization’s largest fundraisers. Next week Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly will host the group’s Flannel Fest Fundraiser. The fundraising night will support the organization’s firewood program, which helps to keep elders home heated throughout the winter. Grants and Communications Manager, Gail Ross, says the office’s excitement for next Friday continues to grow and hopes to see many people out in support of keeping homes heated during the long winter months.
“The doors will open at 5 p.m. And we have a bunch of fund and exciting games, 50/50 drawings. We will have a live auction. We have some fabulous gifts that were donated by the community all of the proceeds that we earn from that night will go toward the firewood assistance program.” – Gail Ross, Grants and Communications Manager, Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly
During the fundraiser, attendees will have an opportunity to participate in a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, mystery gifts, and a live auction. Attendees can also expect a great meal at the fundraiser’s buffet, and to hear great music from Super Suits. Flannel Fest with Little Brother Friends of the Elderly will take place at the Bonfire in Houghton, on October 6th. Tickets for the fundraiser event cost 50 dollars.
