Let’s Rebuild Community is a local non-profit organization formed to help seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities who have difficulty with painting their own homes or keeping up with landscaping.
After this year’s application process, 4 homes have been selected in the Calumet-Laurium area to kick off the program this summer.
Volunteers are still needed for this project. Volunteer teams will paint the exterior of the selected homes over two weekends this summer. Volunteers will also do landscaping touch-ups as time permits during the work days, and any significant safety concerns identified outside of the house will also be addressed.
