HANCOCK, Mich. – Your passions shouldn’t cause you pain. That’s what the area’s most comprehensive orthopedic team will share with the community during Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital’s Bone and Joint Solutions event in Hancock on Wednesday, April 12.
The Bone and Joint Solutions event is free and takes place at 5:30 p.m. at the Finnish-American Heritage Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to talk directly to Aspirus Keweenaw’s surgeons and therapists about healing pain in the hands, shoulders, knees and hips. Appetizers prepared by Chef Mark Pittillo and light refreshments will be provided. Participants must register in advance to attend by calling 337-6541.
On hand will be Orthopedic Surgeons Mark Kelley, MD, FACS; Frederick Rau, MD; and Kenneth Pherson, DO. Physical and occupational therapists and orthopedic nurses will share information about types of therapy, restrictions after a joint replacement procedure and how therapy can help reduce pain after surgery.
“This is a great opportunity to come out and meet our orthopedic team,” said Sharon Fisher, orthopedic service line director for Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital. “You’ll learn that all of the excellent care you need is right here.”
Register today for Aspirus Keweenaw’s Bone and Joint Solutions event by calling 337-6541. The event is free and open to the public.
