L’Anse Posts Boil Advisory for Residents

UPDATE: The Boil Water Alert area has been limited to Baraga Avenue, between Main and Fifth Streets. Water in the rest of the village is potable.

Residents of the Village of L’Anse have been placed under a boil advisory. The boil advisory is due to a waterline break in the village. Residents will need to boil water prior to use for cleaning dishes, or cooking. Water should come to a rolling boil for approximately one minute before using. Allow the water to cool before using. The boil advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
