Lakeshore Drive Demolition To Begin Late Next Week

The City of Houghton would like to remind the public that the Lakeshore Drive demolition project will close the road under the deck from Huron Drive to about midway through the structure starting on Monday.

If residents park on the east side of the structure, please start parking according to the parking brochure that was given out.

The specialized contractor, Vite, slightly changed their order of demolition, now beginning at the canal side of the parking deck. They will begin setting things up at the beginning of the week and then begin the demolition towards the end of the week.
