The Lake Linden Hubbell Public Schools Foundation awards over 120,000 scholarships to 22 class of 2024 graduates. Yesterday the Lake Linden Hubbell Public Schools Foundation awarded scholarships ranging from 250 to 25000 dollars to twenty-two recent Lake Linden Hubbell High School graduates. The foundation supports students’ education through scholarship awards, purchases classroom equipment, provides support for arts and science courses, and assists with plans for future infrastructure needs.
The 2024 scholarship awards dispersed by the Lake Linden Hubbel Public Schools Foundation include Jenna Beaudoin (co-Salutatorian), Taylor Clements, Abigail Codere, Isaac Daavettila, Megan Ferguson, Cole Griffin, Mason Holzberger, Jillian Jeffery, Matthew Jokela, Jackson Lister, Rebecca Lyons, Amy Mahrley, Danny Marcotte, Samuel Nieuwenhuis (Valedictorian), Gabriel Popko, Samuel Roberts, Olivia Shank, Kian Sheridan (co-Salutatorian), Marissa Sullivan, Trey Testini, Anders Wetton and Madalyn Yaceczko.
Scholarship committee Chairperson Linda Ziemnick says that as in the past, the committee received many exceptional applications from students, and is excited to provide some level of support to each who applied.
