A new restaurant is now open in downtown Hancock that features flavors from south of the border.
La Cantina Restaurant opened its doors for the first time Wednesday, just in time for Winter Carnival.
The menu features a wide variety of traditional Mexican favorites, which come with complimentary chips and salsa.
La Cantina is in the same location as another Mexican-themed restaurant that recently closed down.
The restaurant owners say they aren’t worried about that because their food speaks for itself.
La Cantina Co-Owner Denisse Aranda said, “Because you will love—you will enjoy that our food is authentic Mexican food. We have the best Mexican food in town.”
The owners also have restaurants in Iron Mountain and Madison, Wisconsin.
