In line with changing into the holiday season, the Keweenaw National Historic Park will invite the community to a holiday blast from the past. Tomorrow the Keweenaw National Historic Park will open access to a temporary exhibit that features holiday traditions and old-time gifts from the Keweenaw Peninsula’s historic holiday celebrations over the years. During the exhibit, visitors can learn about holiday fashion with friends of fashion, re-create tree trimming from the past with Sew Cranky, and enjoy a dance performance from the Kivijat Dancers. Living Windows with the Friends of Fashion will run from 12 to 2 pm, and other activities will take place throughout the day. For those who can’t make it to the holiday open house exhibit tomorrow, there will be a second chance next week on December 9th. Find more details here.
