Keweenaw County Seeks to Fill Vacant Seat on the County’s Planning Commission Board

Keweenaw County will seek an individual to fill an opening on the county’s planning commission. Keweenaw County has an immediate opening on the planning commission board, which typically meets 10 times a year. The county will seek a resident from Houghton or Sherman townships but will accept an application from any county resident. Individuals interested in joining the Keweenaw County Planning Commission are asked to review the commission’s by-laws. Any questions regarding the position should be directed to contact zoning administrator Sara Heikkila.
