Keweenaw County Board of Commissioners will meet to address local topics. There will be the discussion on the urgent situation regarding repairs from the damage from the flooding, and finding replacements for broken windows.
The MCOLES grant will fund the recruitment of a deputy through the academy.
They will also vote on adding Joe Foster as a County Employee and appointing AJ Kern to the Zoning Board of Appeals as Planning Commission Liaison.
They will discuss and vote on putting an elevator in the courthouse.
The meeting will take place at 6:30 tonight at the Keweenaw County Courthouse in Eagle River.
