Keweenaw Community Foundation Begins Accepting Proposals for the Fall Grant Cycle

The Keweenaw Community Foundation opens the fall grant cycle portal. Recently the Keweenaw Community Foundation announced it will begin accepting applications for the organization’s fall grant cycle. The application portal will remain open until October 21st. The Fall Grant awards include seven different grant funds. The smallest grant award of 1,200 dollars comes from the Houghton County Historical Preservation Fund which supports projects and activities related to the preservation or education of Houghton County. The largest grant fund has 40,000 dollars available in 2024 and is funded by the Copper Shores Community Wellness and Outdoor Recreation Fund supporting projects in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, and Ontonagon counties. Eligible organizations are 501c3 public charities, schools, churches, and local governments.
