Some music inside the Calumet Theater sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday night. Tomorrow evening the Calumet Theatre will host the Big Annie Fundraising Gala. Tickets have sold out for the gala’s dinner before the show.
However, tickets are still available to fill up the historic theater’s rows of seats. Penny Menzie will perform her original song Annie before Keweenaw Brewgrass takes the Copper Country’s oldest stage. All funds raised throughout the evening will benefit the Big Annie Statue Fund which has been organized by the local community with help from the Keweenaw Community Foundation.
Tickets for the concert will cost 20 dollars for an individual. Doors for the concert will open at 8 pm and the music will start at 8:30 pm.
