Keweenaw Bay Missing Boaters Found Deceased Below Lake Superior

The two missing boaters in Keweenaw Bay have been located. Michigan State Police Marine Services Unit located the capsized vessel and both missing boaters involved in a lake accident on Saturday, yesterday afternoon. Michigan State Police report that both individuals were found deceased located in an area approximately 220 feet below the surface of Lake Superior. Families of the victims have been notified. No names will be released at this time. The L’Anse Fire Department has begun organizing a donation fund for the families of the victims.
