Keweenaw Area Community Foundation Thanks the Community for a Successful Keweenaw GOLD Fundrasier

The Keweenaw Area Community Foundation thanks the community for making Keweenaw Gold 2023 a great success. Last week over 100 members of the community joined the Keweenaw Area Community Foundation at its Keweenaw GOLD 2023 fundraising dinner at the Bonfire. Attendees enjoyed great food, and a fun evening surrounded by friends in support of the Keweenaw Peninsula. Keweenaw GOLD raises awareness and highlights community work completed by residents over the past year that seeks to improve the quality of life in the Keweenaw. Keweenaw Area Community Foundation Executive Director Robin Mennaguzzo says the non-profit foundation was overwhelmed by the community’s outpouring of support this year. Extending special gratitude to local organizations and businesses who sponsored this year’s dinner including; Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital as the benefactor, Edward Jones, and Mount Bohemia, Calumet Electronics. As well as UPHS – Portage, UP Kids!, Rang Bank, McGann Building supply, Louie’s Fresh Market, Memorial Chapel, Superior National Bank, the Copper Shores Community Health Foundation, and The Nature Conservancy in Michigan.
