Karl Bohnak Running for Election in the 109th Michigan House District

Karl Bohnak plans to run for the state representative in the 109th district in the 2024 election. Bohnak announced late last month his official plans to run as a republican in the august state primary election for the 109th house district. Currently the house seat in the 109th is held by Representative Jen Hill, who plans to run for re-election as a democrat. Bohnak will run for the republican nomination against two other candidates, Burt Mason and Melody Wagner during the august primary. A Wisconsin native, Bohnak moved to the Upper Peninsula in 1988 to work as a meteorologist in local broadcasting, starting at WLUC before moving to WZMQ. Jen Hill’s nomination for the democratic ticket is challenged by Margaret Brumm and Randy Girard. Find more information about Karl Bohnak here.
