The diver who drowned while at Isle Royale National Park has been identified. The Isle Royale National Park service has notified the family of deceased diver John Nousaine, 70 years old of Superior Wisconsin. Nousaine was with recreational divers on a private vessel exploring the Emperor Shipwreck. The accident occurred near the stern section of the Emperor at a depth area between 100 and 150 feet. The private dive vessel immediately notified the National Park Service of the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
