Parents and caregivers interested in Learning more about the IEP program for children and young adults are invited to a presentation in Baraga. This evening the Michigan Alliance for Families, Keweenaw Bay Indian Community, and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services will host a free presentation for caregivers and parents focused on individualized education program basics. IEP programs are designed to fit the special education needs of some children that are decided upon by school staff and parents of a child. Tonight’s program invites parents and caregivers from Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, and Ontonagon counties to attend. The presentation is free and refreshments are provided. The IEP Basics presentation with the Michigan Alliance for Families, KBIC, and MDHHS will begin at 6:30 pm, at the KBIC Library. Located at 409 Superior Avenue in Baraga.
